SNAPWRITE EXHIBITION 2023

SHARING THE BEAUTY AROUND US

WHAT IS THE SNAPWRITE EXHIBITION

SnapWrite Exhibition is a chance for people to submit their photo stories of our beautiful region and have them displayed and made available for sale as a physical exhibition in October 2023.

The theme for this year’s SnapWrite Exhibition is “What If...”.

The Exhibition will help celebrate the formal opening of the restored Gunning Railway Station building as an arts and community centre.

Wonderful and moving photos and stories of our region have been contributed as part of the community driven SnapWrite Facebook page. The page has brought joy and uplift to hundreds of people.

PLEASE NOTE: Submitting a photo to the SnapWrite Facebook page is not the same as submitting an entry to the SnapWrite Exhibition. You must follow the submission procedure below to enter the SnapWrite Exhibition.

SnapWrite Exhibition is proudly supported by Creative Gunning through a grant from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal Strengthening Rural Communities Program.

 HOW TO GET INVOLVED

In these extraordinary times it seems now, more than ever, sharing the beauty of where we live is important.

The Gunning Arts Festival committee invites members of the community to submit up to two of their favourite photos for consideration in SnapWrite Exhibition.

Entries must also include at least a couple of sentences about each photo entry and how it encapsulates the beauty of living in our region and how their photo relates to the Gunning Arts Festival theme “What if…”

We welcome works from young and old alike and you don't need to have had any experience at photography to enter.
Finalists will be selected to be part of SnapWrite Exhibition in October 2023.
